Caribbean Beaches

The Caribbean Islands are known for their wonderful beaches and their extraordinary beauty. The primary advantages of the Caribbean islands are their location and of course the fact that a traveler will find almost all the treasures that they could ever wish for. With it’s brilliance, nature has gifted the beaches with an overly exclusive view and tremendous life.

This is one of the reasons why holiday makers from all across the globe only visit these beaches once in a lifetime. The white sands, the blue water, the sky and the patches of greenery around make these beaches the paradise that we see on the TV. The water is the best place for surfing and diving in the world it’s so clear.

Given that the islands are surrounded by sea, it is understandable that the many beaches are spread far and wide. There are innumerable small such beach locations. I’m only including the preferred Caribbean Beaches.

In Puerto Rico:

  • Balneario de Rincon
  • Balneario Boqueron

These are the 2 most popular beaches, with thousands flocking every day to top up their tan.

The Balneario Boqueron is situated in the south western coast of the island. This beautiful beach is known for it’s spectacular natural scenery, it’s still a peaceful beach where one can relax enjoying the light cool breeze of the sea.

Where as the Balneario de Rincon beach offers a calm sea where one can enjoy a bath. Since the beach is very close to the Mona Passage, therefore one can also watch the massive whales swimming in the water. The location Rincon is unique because the Caribbean and the Atlantic oceans meet at this point.

The Virgin Islands

In Virgin Islands the Cane Bay Beach and of course the Caneel bay are the most preferred by .

Cane bay is located on the north western coast of the Virgin Island. Santa Cruz beach has numerous locations purpose made for spending leisure hours. It is a place where one can get the opportunity of cheap, duty-free shopping, plus you will find that there are many underwater activities available like the snorkeling.

Caneel Bay is on the western coast of the island and apart from the beautiful surroundings and the sea one can also enjoy camping and many other nature related activities.

The Brewer’s Bay also known as the beer bay, we wonder why… It is located on the western coast of the island. The specialty of this beach is it has wide stretch of palm trees, under which one can take the rest for a while or longer.

Dominican Republic, the White Beaches from the Movies.

We must not forget that the Dominican Republic is also one of the larger, more popular locations. The Bayahibe, on the eastern part of the island is where the peach is shaped like a crescent and is filled with palm tree. This is one of the most popular tourist spots on the island. The beach is surrounded with resorts and numerous shopping stores, many cruises stop here.

The Boca Chica another popular beach is also in the eastern part of the island. It is easy to find plenty of low cost accommodation. It is a big stretch of beach and it is a very beautiful white sandy beach, just like in the movies and TV adverts. The sea water is as clean as a crystal decanter and the main attraction of this beach is the coral reef which is of course frequented by many Liners.
